Small Business Government Grants Programs for Business Systems
There are a few Small Business Government Grants available to Small Businesses,
here are our favourite two:
Australia Small Business Advisory Service (ASBAS)
The Australian Small Business Advisory Service, known as ASBAS Digital Solutions provides small businesses with access to Business Consultants from as little as $25 for a workshop or webinar or $44 for a 60-minute consultation. This program allows business to mix and match services based on their needs. Owners can have anyone within the business attend, so it’s a great way to up-skill the right person in your team, or talk business strategy for themselves.
Small Business Digital Grants Program – $10k Matched Funding
The Small Business Digital Grants Program provides matched funds UP TO $10,000 for a range of services to assist with your growth. My favourite being your ability to use a Business Systems Consultant in a Coaching capability. Imagine the things you could achieve with 50% off Systems. Goal planning, roadmapping processes, implementing software and automation, training and much much more.
Nationally, but especially the Gold Coast & Brisbane businesses have a chance to thrive in the new Digital Age thanks to a new Australian Government Initiative aimed at exposing Small Businesses to new digital advancements in Marketing and Technology.
The Australian Small Business Advisory Services (ASBAS) Digital Solutions program launched on the Gold Coast in October 2018. The program has been government funded for THREE years and is open to any business owner with an ABN with 1-19 employees. Businesses can choose their delivery style from 1on1 Consultation, Workshops and Webinars. ASBAS also allows us to work with Industry Associations to provide member services so that we may upskill as many small businesses as possible during the grant period. Note: Businesses can send anyone from their business to the sessions, it’s a great way to upskill admin staff who take on much of the Business Systems roles.

ASBAS Digital Solutions provides small businesses with access to low cost advisory services delivered by high quality Business Consultants who can help them understand the new digital age, and how to succeed by using new Business platforms, tools and software to improve their business operations. On the Gold Coast, Business Systems Consultant Krystle Divertie from Krystle Clear Solutions has been awarded the role of delivering the initiative to as many small businesses as possible “We have a great opportunity to help businesses grow and have the freedom and flexibility to achieve their dreams, I hope every small business takes advantage of the initiative” commented Krystle.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistic (ABS)1 and Australian Treasury the survival rate for non-employing businesses is only 58.9%. When you take into account that 97% of businesses in Australia are SMALL (62% of them non-employing) this grant has the ability to have a real impact on the growth and success of small businesses in Australia and the Gold Coast.
The initiative focuses on these four digital capabilities:
Website and selling online
Social media and digital marketing
Using small business software
Online security and data privacy
The program will be delivered through a combination of channels including:
- Direct one-on-one advisory support delivered face to face, or remotely online or over the phone
- Interactive webinars
- Face to face workshops
The beauty of this initiative is that it allows business owners to use the program in line with their business needs and anyone in their business can attend the workshops.
To book a workshop, follow Krystle Clear Solutions on Facebook or this page for upcoming workshops. Workshops will be added if demand requires.
